Background
Statistics show that an estimated 20% of people have problems maintaining a balanced sleep pattern. It has been shown that being aware of one's own sleep habits can greatly help with maintaining healthy sleep.
Morpheus, the god of sleep,
is said to have kept an elm tree by his bed on which dreams were hung like pieces of fruit, each one carved from the darkness by children of Night.
Morpheus Tree (the ambient lamp)
The ambient lamp allows users to carve their own sleep experience from the darkness, using 14 solenoids to lower individual 'dream fruit' as they ripen, indicating a user's sleep cycle is complete.
